Actually in scanlation groups, its 3-6 months top...
I think so too since there are other groups who wants to pick it up and can commit to update it regularly

I think so too since there are other groups who wants to pick it up and can commit to update it regularly
Most of the groups I know give other groups 2 months to update a series and if there are no updates within 2 months, then the series is considered dropped by the other group and up for grabs unless someone gets in contact with you specifically.
And also personally- I feel like if it's been 2 months, even if the other group contacts you, unless they are DONE with a chapter and ready to post within the next day or two, it might be worth ignoring them anyways.
