They are kids. Pretty sure they were still minors when they died. Also, they couldn’t resist the abuse at all. The things they were able to do in their past life, something as simple as running, was taken away from them when they reincarnated. They couldn’t stand up for themselves. Of course they would have trauma.

I understand the twins situation and I don’t really blame them. Like sure it can be annoying that they aren’t saying anything but shit even I would be terrified out of my wits if I was in a new world and the first thing I experience is abuse. They don’t really know their father too well because HELLO THEY JUST MET HIM. And I understand why they’d immediately become attached to the scar kid since they can relate.
