If she didn't want her boundaries pushed, she should have paid her own damn debt and not gotten married. She married the guy. I figure he should be able to expect her to act like a wife. Wife's screw their husbands. Granted, it's an effed up situation--but she should not have entered into a deal and not kept up her side of it. I see the ethical issue as hers (though, really, I have an issue with the whole polygamy thing, but hey, they can do what they want.)
Did you even read the chapter where they slept together without doing anything? He's respecting her boundaries as much as a married couple can. In other countries the marriage is not considered sanctified until he sleeps with her. The fact that he's waiting should be good enough.
It wasn't *her* debt though, it was her parents'.
I really like the art, but the story just pisses me off. just because they are married it seems the guy has magically gotten the right to harass the girl and totally ignore her boundaries. even in marriage, when the sex is not consensual it's rape. and now the guy is slowly pushing the girl to do something she isn't comfortable with. just my opinion, I do think the story itself is somewhat funny, but that guy just doesn't deserve her!
