Pretty early on there was this chapter with the destroyed clothes when they entered the tomb which was a almost a confirmation in itself. Rather I have started to doubt myself since it just didn't make any progress in so long but w/e

Lots of questions, lol, I know the novel isn't finished but I'm wondering, does the demon lord die, is his supreme body too powerful for his soul? Does the city lord revive again? Does Nie Le become the disciple? How far is the manga compared to the novel, halfway?

no the demon lord doesn't die he appears later. Yes, the city lord does revive. And what do you mean by disciple? (kinda vague) Tho I think the manga is a little more than halfway in the novel, idk.
The whole who will become the discple of the nether realm thingy and does the main characters, like the nie le's friend and the girl's, do they learn Nie le was reborn? Also does nie find the temporal book? Also is ning er's previous life also explained? And what rank is Nie le currently at in the novel? About the disciple of the nether realm, I don't think it was decided already since they still have unfinished business in draconic ruins realm. About the friends finding out about his reincarnation, they eventually learn about it. The temporal book, he was still looking for it and the missing pages, though he believed it was the vine on his soul ocean. About Ning'er's past life, it was briefly explained what had happened while she enteres the forest, how he disfigured her face, how he survived there, or how he met Nei Li again and did not introduced herself also Nei Li found out the mystery of her birthmark which was probably the reason she survived the forest. About his rank, beside from being the sect master of the divine feather sect, he's already in dao dragon realm I think.

I have another few questions if that's okay, who was the person protecting glory city, cuz when nie le asked the enforcer to protect glory city, he said there was someone doing that, also who was the old man who knew the 10 word maxumum, is he evil, kind? Does anything big happen to Nie le's group, like does anyone die or become evil?

The old man was also a reincarnation of someone that's going to inherit something(?) from emperor Kong Ming, he tried to kill Nei Li so in a way he's evil.

guys is it just me, or is Xiao Yu a girl? He acts like really uncomfortable and weird with Nie Li when he's close to her, and he doesn't let them in his room. And none of the girl's faze him. So my radar is like telling me that this guy is a chick 11/10
