I’m guessing she’ll be using lucia’s name to do things so the people against her won’t see her doing anything prominent, this continuing to have their guard down against her.
but that wouldn't make sense either. If she is saving the young girl's life then they girl wouldn't die and therefore once again be able to return to the academy or at least would raise suspision on how a girl can be in two places at once because it's not like the other girl isn't well known or has friends. if shes cured that leaves 2 months max maybe before she would return to school. i think the author got too carried away with the whole identiy theft bit. As nice as this chapter onwas, without the context of other chapters it makes no snese and just adds usless filler to the plot. she's a duke's daughter, why would she need a lesser persons name? it wont grant her access into anything she wouldn't have been able to do on her own and she has a maid that she can now use and a knight to carry out things separately. I'm not just not pleased with how the author ended this chapter i guess
I don’t think she’s gonna be impersonating as Lucia but just using her name to do things. That’s why it doesn’t matter if Lucia comes back, since she’s not gonna act like her or anything like that. (Not to mention, if she suddenly started going around and acting like Lucia, Anne is gonna report it) she’s probably just gonna use her name as a fake identity.
If she use the duke’s name then the duke and the blue hair lady would found out about what she’s up to and her every actions. She can’t use anyone higher than her status bc the other higher family is the royal family and she can’t really get them involved without the duke finding out and I think she doesn’t want to be involved with them anymore bc of her past. Using a less person’s name can let her have more freedom to roam around. Think about it. If a noble goes around downtown and meet with information brokers, it would be a big gossip but someone without a higher status won’t get that much attention. The reason why she chose this girl and her family is Bc she has a upper hand. Since she know the cure to the disease she can cure her and then her family owes her. That girls father loves her daughter very much and that’s why she said all that about spending so much money to find a cure. That means if she cures his daughter he will repay her back tremendously. I don’t think she meant like she’s going to pretend to be her in school. But like when she goes out and tried to form connections with “underground people” or tries to buy something without the Duke finding out, this is a very smart choice IMO. And besides we don’t know her plans yet so I don’t think we can judge her actions just yet

you're good Helvetica, lol and yea that makes sense Lulu, it just rubbed me a wrong way at the end of the chapter like she was full on going Lucia. If she only uses Lucia's name like that and to have the family owe her a favor then that would work.

What does she mean she'll be borrowing her life? she's impersonating an entirely different girl and family at the moment. How would she use someone else's name who is from a separate family and totally unrelated to the current family's struggle
