I'm loving the rollercoaster indeed. It's not overkill to simply solve the plot through communication and chowon suddenly turning healthy minded. Chowon to begin with merely pushed back his previous dangerous feelings to placate the people around him. He isn't completely over those dangerous feelings and has a hard time transitioning between the previous events and new events with the beta. He didnt completely recognize his faults yet bc that's his way to cope with what he did, being in denial of how truly dangerous he can be as an unhealthy person.. Now that even the beta was hurt from chowon's response about what happened, chowon is having a mental break down. However, this is a turning point now that he seems to recognize more exactly how much he crossed the line by. He needs to rlly accept the truth of the previous matter to move on first before going further with life/the beta (if the beta manages to trust him again)
"If a psychopath can restrain themselves in order to live a normal life, other people can too." Except not all mentally-ill people are the same and casting them as a monolith is ableist af. Also you forget that Dojun literally raped Heesoo....the very thing that everyone is shitting on Chowon for attempting. Both did terrible things and what I don't understand why people are so quick to forgive Dojun but show no sympathy for Chowon.
I apologize if I have offended anyone.I know everyone suffers differently, I'm simply trying to prove my point that no matter what, people shouldnt hurt other people. Ive worded it incorrectly and for that I apologize.
Dojun have warned Heesoo to run away when he was in a rut. While it is true Dojun hurt Heesoo, he regretted it deeply and even refrain from having sex with Heesoo. As I stated before, all of them have done terrible things and have faced the consequences. Chowon havent. I cannot control what other people think but for me, I sympathises with Chowon and hope that he will get help so he can be happy and healthy.
oh I think we're thinking similarly. I think what people are not seeing is that Chowon is showing that he regrets what he did because he did start taking his pills again, meaning he wants to get better and not hurt people anymore. Just because he doesn't say it outright doesn't mean we should ignore the author's attempt to show it indirectly. Right now Chowon is finally facing the consequences of his actions in a way that affects him, because kyungsoo is ignoring him and is at risk of losing his life in trying to get better. Perhaps it's because Chowon's regret just started showing in this chapter and people aren't seeing it outright and so they can't sympathise. Above anything I also hope Chowon gets better and can be happy.

Like one of the comments said people can both sympathies with chowon and also wanting to hold him accountable. While mental illness do play a factor in someone's decisions, that doesnt justified their actions to hurt other people. If a psychopath can restrain themselves in order to live a normal life, other people can too.
Some of you really tryna justify Chowon's action by bringing up what the other characters did. All of them have made mistakes and have faced the consequences. Because of Dojun's lack of actions during his marriage, he had to broke up with heesoo who later was kidnapped and almost raped by his ex-wife.
This is the start of Chowon's character development. So open up your mind and try to enjoy this rollercoaster.
