YESS it really bothers me too but this ch (20) got me confused. I think the father forced them (i dont want to misgender them) to do that. I guess thats why the brothers are feeling guilty
Honestly I can’t read it anymore, but if she is trans, then it shouldn’t be forced. You transition because you want to and it will make you feel more like how you see yourself. I just can’t read it anymore.

You would say “Forced to transition”. Transgender is a state of being. Like “That person is transgender” is right or “I have a transgender friend”.
I know it’s probably just how it’s written, but how the characters talk about the sister bother me so much. She is a she. She is transgender yes, but how they keep misgendering her pisses me off. Like EVERYONE seems to. She is a girl. Also transgender should be used in a sentence like “Now they are a transgender” transgender is a state of being. So correctly you could say “Now they’ve transitioned” or if you want a closed minded way to say it “Now they’re a girl” (this is still incorrect because trans people are always the gender they believe they are, but this is grammatically correct for someone who doesn’t know better).
