Penelope is actually the last fragment of ancient magicians, and why she intended to kill Yvonne in the game because the FL in the game is part of the “evil” magicians, which were taught to be “extinct”. But since Yvonne can brainwash people, she used that power and would take over the royal family and the country. But eventually Penelope gained her magic through the game and intends to kill Yvonne.
The Eckart family trusts Penelope after her coming of age ceremony where she drank the poison that Yvonne prepared for herself(so ppl can think that Penelope poisoned her).
P.S: THE CROWN PRINCE IS TOTALLY SMITTEN WITH PENELOPE! (He announced that they were engaged even tho Penelope gave a vague answer)
