This was cute. The florist story reminded me a bit of one I read a while ago, where a frequent customer was buying flowers for a wife/girlfriend who was growing distant or cheating on him, and though he tried to make it work with his gf, he and the florist fell in love. Can't remember if it was a oneshot or not though.
