Rule differences?

Ok guys, I've recently gotten into tv series fandoms, like merlin and teen wolf fanfictions, and the one thing i notice is that they didn't put warnings on the synopsis for SWITCH! And also i'm guessing they didn't use the seme-first-then-uke pairing names like exp : MidoTaka & TakaMido which would also serve as warning... Is that they way it works? Thanks in advance~

I think (depending on the site you use) that the standard semexuke usually is used - but not always. Some will use tags (like on AO3) to describe the relationships (bottom v top), but I find that quite lacking of FanFiction.net. Some will also use a combination of the seme/ukes names but there they don't always distinguish the relationship - they just use what sounds best. I don't know if that helps at all.

Exactly! I was using FF.net. but even if the japanese BL fandom uses name combination they still keep the semexuke rule, like Shizaya and Izuo, but if I'm not mistaken hetero pairing doesn't have boyxgirl rule, maybe like that huh? It's just the SWITCH that's kinda bugging me coz i dislike them, and they threw it in the fic just like that and i was
