i mean sisters friend just came out as lesbian and she's like 9 or 10 and her mom reacted nicely and when i heard about her being lesbian i was proud of her for doing that because that can be hard when you don't know how people will react and if i had a child and they were 11 and said they were lesbian/gay i would proud of them and i would support them :)
just say that dont let anybodies words bring u down and that u still love them (if ur close?)
I would support them. Those are really formative years and having a positive source of affection really helps.

i did come out as trans a few years ago it was like when i was 9-12 yeah i was supported lol
