On one hand, I feel bad for the original mc, where she was desperate and had no talent, so her brothers and father ignored her. On the other hand, since the brother and father greatly value cooking talent(?), it would make sense that she's not as valued as much and would be treated worse but it shldnt be until that extent imo. And also, they are acknowledging mc's talent and trying to redeem themselves
