LMFAOOO the way yall think Jeanette purposefully let herself be manipulated

Typical_Otaku December 1, 2020 1:34 pm

Yall real funny to think that a VULNERABLE and IMPRESSIONABLE girl would just *let* herself be manipulated by a man that was the only person at the time who showed her constant kindness...

but also hilarious to see that there's still barely any hate on the brother who orchestrated this entire thing

Yes. Yes she does. Just being naive and innocent isnt an excuse to being dumb, and letting other manipulate you. She hasn't tried to look into her family. She hasn't looked into who her mom is. And a complete stranger is telling her that it's ok to be family with the royal family when she has no proof save for her eyes. Which you can fake with just looking at the villain.. (seeing as he has change his whole appearance).

So yes we can blame her for letting all this happen.

Being naive and innocent is the very main reason a person is going to make mistakes, and allow for others to twist you into something you’re not. Of course Someone experienced is less likely to be manipulated but this is a younger girl who knew nothing outside of her present day circumstances.

Look into her family? I ask you how! You mean for her to find out the truth of her birth, maybe she’ll ask the people who have lied to her, the entirety of her life. Athy has also tried and failed to learn about her own mother but was only able to because Claude shared his memories and with the help of those who care for her. Jeanette has no one who would willingly do that for her.

Not to mention we have no information about how Jeanette was raised, we do not know if she has attempted to research her origins or not. Very little of Jeanette’s life has actually been revealed. But if she didn’t do any research, her eyes are a pretty big reason why she may not have.

The stranger bit can be argued that because her adoptive whatever brought him into the house, it’s okay for her to trust him. It’s a weaker argument so I don’t stand by it. What I would like to say about the Brother is that he has played his cards right and has always appeared kind in front of her and offered her advice when needed. He is literally the only person she can actually lean on, kinda like a father. Which also, a weaker point but he is her dad. Totally possible there’s an underlying bond there she’s clinging to.

The eyes are the only proof she needs! Jewel eyes can only be born to the royal family. This story has never once said it’s possible for them to be faked. Hidden, yes but not faked. The villain is the first born son so he naturally has them, they are just kept secret.

Realistically speaking if a child was in a dangerous household where their family is forcing them to do things they didn’t want to do and the child didn’t know it was wrong, it’s abuse. We do not blame the child for being manipulated. What we certainly do not do is label the child as dumb for falling for a scheme that has been in place since before she was born. On top of being acted out by every single person in her life.

Jeanette’s annoying...because she’s a girl desperately hoping for a family who she believes is her own but is not. A fact she does not know and can not know until she finds out the truth. I’m not a fan of her either but clearly the tides changing and it’s time to readjust our feelings for certain characters. Not asking you to like her, not when things are about to go down but at the very least you can lay off on the massive hate she gets.

ahhh I see, thanks for clearing that up. and yeah it's true that they would hold this double standard on to them just because one character is more physically attractive than the other. (though in my opinion, I don't see the appeal he's literally just black haired Claude lol but that's just me)
