Well now that you point it out, I can see it- I agree with you on all of your points, but I'm mostly reading because it does create good points on Dan-i's side. I kind of find it a bit short-sighted in the sense that it really doesn't give us much insight on the other characters, but the connections it makes to real life is really nice. And because it doesn't provide insight on the other characters makes it more thrilling (per se) in that we dont know what we want the main character to feel or think. This probably didn't make sense, I'm probably rambiling ignoreee mee~
Well you ain't wrong, but I have to disagree on some parts.....its true that she seems like the damsel in distress but in situations like this .....it isn't avoidable and to make its worse her enemy is someone who's in a higher rank than her , So yeah she needs help.... She don't have power like the FL and MLs or side characters
Another thing I disagree on this you said she's going with the flow of the story, in this situation you have to understand the characters feelings especially being teleporated in a story you don't want to be in, you constantly have to know whether what you are doing is right or wrong......
You can't blame her for going with the flow of the story ......that's all she can do, avoid problems by using the stories flow. Be more understanding
I respectfully disagree with you.
1. On power: I don’t believe she’s powerless. Her friends are influential, she’s the focus of her friend group, surely she must helm a significant amount of power amongst her classmates. She just refuses to take advantage of that, which is fine because I guess it fits her current, meek personality, but it makes her out to be uninteresting. Take, for example, the accusation scene in ch.s 88 or so and the “princess-carry” competition, both in which she chose not to stand up for herself and just allowed surrounding characters to control her.
2. On blaming: Yes, you’re right, she seemingly has valid reasons for being the way she is. Clearly, this unassertiveness and meekness of hers is just how she is, and she can’t help that. However, as a character, this is unacceptable. It makes her uninteresting because it leads her to just do nothing for herself and let others fix her problems for her. She’s been this way for much of the story with no yet seen character development from her, which is why she’s one-dimensional. If character development is gonna happen later, great, but it’s been nearly 90 chapters so far, so I feel it’s okay to rant about this when we’re so many chapters in.
And yes, I know guys. Debating over a manhwa, stupid. Sorry, it’s quarantine, and the fact that people replied with interesting points made me think.
Oh yes, and thank you for the discussion @tri tri!

Ok, so based on other comments around here, I suspect my view is unpopular. I’m not eloquent enough to accurately convey my thoughts, but here goes:
Dan-i has become tropey and one-dimensional. She was interesting at first because it seemed she defied the author and cliches more, but now all she does is go with the flow. This series has become a cliche web novel focused on dan-i and I’m disappointed it turned out this way. She’s always the damsel in distress and issues always arise because “something happened to dan-i”.
Also, it’s almost like she’s like a pet for her friend group: It’s always her who cheers up everyone else, we know nothing about her other friends’ struggles and she’s never helping the others. She receives and receives, but never gives.
Maybe my expectations for this series was inaccurate to begin with, maybe I’m just salty because I despise harems, who knows. I was fine with all other characters being one-dimensional, no matter if their one-dimensional personalities were “not cliche”, but dan-i isn’t originally a web novel character. I expected her to, no matter her affinity for the web novel world, be multi-dimensional in contrast to everyone else.
