Rushed ending perhaps?

I don't know it just feels...incomplete?? Like, I felt that the author intended for there to be more story to be told (like about the step bro and the homophobic bro and about the blonde bestfriend) but they just decided to cancel the story??? I'm pretty sure the homophobic bro is implied to be gay and his story was supposed to be explored but it was cut short. Idk just my thoughts
