Tbh I don't feel any hate towards the aunt just pity. Her whole life was restrained and she was told her value in life was to marry and make connections for the family. No one ever told her she could take claim of the title and there truly was no one who would back her even if she had told them. Everyone only ever pitied her for being a daughter, not a son. The only way she felt she could've lived her dream was through her children and all her actions have been to ensure that.
The avery is truly blessed, she had loving parents, a good life in the duchy even though she was a servant, a loving grandfather, the royal family on her side. I think I've read too many villainous stories because I can see how blessed Avery is and be happy for her but sad for the aunt because she had control over her actions but the decisions which she truly mattered to her, like being the heir or learning things other than etiquette and that expected of noble women, was out of her control. ╥﹏╥
