I have an "acquaintance". I should say a "bestfriend" since we've known each other from second grade and it's been about 11 years. And now we'll soon be a college students.
A manga like this actually made me remind of our relationship. We don't feel like friends, we don't have that kind of relationship like bestfriends usually have. We are more inclined to the thought of "we are just a mere strangers that happens to have a same perspective in life, at the same time not." Because we actually believe that "we are alone, I don't need someone else because we will soon be left alone again." And of course, we both pray for each other's "happiness".
But we don't act like a lovers nor sex friend. That person is very mature and really serious but tend to make their life... A joke, kinda. I on the other hand is playful (we both are actually but I'm more inclined to it). I'm the immature one that meets a lot of... weird/unique people lol. We talked too much and sometimes we don't. There was also a time when we didn't talked to each other for half a year. We talk to each other when we feel like it. And hang out when we have a time.... We are both close and yet so distant. And we are aware of that, and we respect it.
So the thing is... The manga almost told our story. I am very much reminded of our lives. At the same time it didn't resembled exactly of it.
And that made it seem realistic. I then thought "Oh so maybe there are this kinds of people other than ours.... That made me seem normal then".
I just wanted to share this. That there are this kind of people also.
