You're so right!!! I recently got the paperback and it was disgusting how much of it was basically Rogi having his way with Tatsuyuki. I hate the fucking dude and also can't stand that the mangaka tries to make us feel sorry for him by giving him his own story. I'd rather have 10 more volumes of Tatsuyuki and Nozomi than another chapter about Rogi and his fucked up, obsessive love for Tatsuyuki's father. Also his mom deserved a better husband!
Exactly. In Jealousy who are the best characters is the wife of the yakuza and the right hand of the yakuza. Rogi and Tatsuyuki's father are not developed and do not know what they want, only to hurt and not consider those around them. He doesn't even respect his wife. If the author think, that with Jealousy we're going to feel sorry for Rogi, I don't. He is a manipulative man, destroying relationships and obsessive to the point of hurting and rape the child of the person he "loves". As you say, I would prefer more volumes of Tatsuyuki and Nozomi, than him.
No one will talk about how Reika knew Tatsuyuki was having a hard time? It implies that she saw or heard what they were doing. If Rogi cared that much about her daughter, the least he could do was do those things while he had his daughter in his house.
