the difference is we can love jiwon because their story is complete and we’ve seen that he’s developed and grown. we have not seen any development from Yahwi yet, we have not made it that far in the story (if we even get any in the first place). If you look in the comments this far into in BJ Alex, people probably hated Jiwon too, because people tend to hate manipulative assholes who haven’t hit their character development yet, who would’ve thought. You’re SUPPOSED to be lashing out on him right now, he’s literally made to be hate-able at this point. Once he gets his character development you can rant about how much he doesn’t deserve hate but right now he’s still as much of a manipulative raping asshole as the first chapter
