She got really upset and kind of lost the purpose of her dream of becoming a doctor. Because in Japan, there was this top-ranked private Medical School that would only pamper with the female applicants admissions, making it harder for women get into that school. It was a pretty huge scandal, apparently 13 applicants were able to get something out of it. But imagine the number of women that didnt..
