Pretty much boils down to, her reasons are twisted, but she has reasons.
There are too many antagonist and villainess in these stories that lead the MC to ruin just because. Angela is not like that. She has a reason, its not a sane reason, it isn't founded in facts or logic, but it is a reason nonetheless. Which is kinda refreshing once you know what it is.

I think hating her in this instance is good??? Like especially knowing her background and motives hating her means that the writers is doing something right. A good villian is supposed to inspire negative feelings because of their actions.
But why would Jayna's life be her's? She wouldn't have been born if her mother wouldn't have married her father - it doesn't make sense ... and no I don't think she has a reason.. none of.what happened to.her family is Jayna's family's fault.. she is just a dumb Bitch who finds it easier to blame others instead of her mother and father.. cuz those two are the ones who destroyed her life
Yeah i kinda agree with you, idk if she knows basic biology but if her mother didnt marry her father than angela probably wouldn't even exist. Another sperm cell would've gotten there first lmao
From what I know of the spoilers the king arranged the marriage between her parents. Angela's mother wanted Jayna's father, but Jayna's father already had a spouse. Angela's dad was given a title, money and a wife(angela's mother) by the king for his exemplary service during the war.
Angela's mother should have blamed her lot in life on her abusive husband and the king. But instead she blamed Jayna's mother, believing that if only Jayna's mother didn't exist she'd be married to Jayna's father. It was probably a coping mechanism based on her own powerlessness. However she raised her daughter with that belief. She also raised her with the belief that marring a truly high ranking man is the only way for a woman to be happy. Basically Angela has been indoctrinated into blaming Jayna and into being a gold digger.
If all that craziness didn't happen to Angela as a child I could see how simple logic would break her obsession. It's probably best to consider Angela as someone who isn't mentally sound because of abuse and indoctrination. Basically to consider her as akin to a religious fanatic or cult member. Logic doesn't sink in. According to spoilers Angela's maid was a key to her success, now that she out of the picture Angela fails again and again. But she keeps trying until she dies. Like, intentional or not, I think the writer created a villian with serious mental issues.
Yeah I completely understand that and the author did a good job in portraying that, but what I wanted to convey with my comment was that her 'reason' can't be called that, as none of her issues where Jayna's familiy's fault.. someone commented above that the reasons for her hating Jayna's family are legit or moreover that she has reasons (twisted or not)... so I wanted to point out that there are no such reasons... and yes I could guess from these chapter that Angela is not very bright.. she is just looks without her maid and now that Jayne knows everything, Angela has no chance
That someone was me. And yeah she does have reasons. They aren't logical because she is insane, but they are reasons. She has a target. She isn't just trying to ruin the life of any noble woman, she's trying to ruin Jayna's life because of her obsession.
Can you please give me some spoilers about the revenge?! Will she knows that Angela was part of killing her mother and what will happen im the end between them?

The reason why Angela hates the color pink is because her dad was an abuser. And he would beat her mother and her mother would wear a pink dress whenever she was beaten. One day, he beat Angela’s mother so badly that she hit her head and died. After that, Angela’s father started forcing her to wear the pink dress her mother wore and beat her up in it too.
Now I’m not trying to justify Angela’s trauma. Nor am I blaming the father at all.
Angela’s father was a war hero and granted the name of Baron. However, after years in war, he suffered from PTSD because he killed so many. And so out of guilt, he donated the money he received from fighting in the war to his territory’s people. However, he donated so much that there was not enough money to support Angela and her mother. In addition, to cope with his PTSD, Angela’s father got addicted to drinking and began abusing his family.
Angela’s mother isn’t a saint either. Angela’s mother was in love with Jayna’s father. However, Jayna’s father married Jayna’s mother. Angela’s mother then decided to marry Angela’s father. Not exactly because she loves him but because he was a close friend of Jayna’s father. Angela’s mother then gave birth to Angela and continuously forced ideas into her head such as saying if Jayna’s mother weren’t alive, then Angela and Her (Angela’s mother) would be happier. In the end, Angela and her mother plotted to poison Jayna’s and Jayna’s mother with cookie when they came over. Only Jayna’s mother died but people don’t know that Angela and Angela’s mother were the cause of it.
So basically after Angela’s mother died and Angela’s father started beating her up, Angela got fed up and killed her father. She then faked a will and that was how she was brought into the family.
The main reasons why Angela hates Jayna is because she’s been forced into these ideas that Jayna and her mother took away her (Angela’s) happiness. And that if Angela’s mother had married Jayna’s father, their life would be so much better. Basically her mom manipulated her into thinking what Jayna had was supposed to be hers and that’s why Angela hates Jayna.
But by no means am I trying to defend them. The whole entire family is messed up.
An alcoholic and abusive father who murder his own wife.
A mother who fell obsessively fell in love with a man but married the man’s friend.
And a daughter whose a murderer as well.
