honestly clark kinda did it to himself bro. he knew what he was getting into when he decided to get into a relationship with alex. he knew that he should stop, but he didn't want to because of his own selfish desires and obsessions. alex and clark were both kinda fucked up. alex was delusional right up until the end. clark played with fire and got burned. tbh, i did feel a tiny bit bad for alex? but at the same time, he's just a killer. i understand all of that shit happened in his childhood and he became possessive bc of it, but he still is an obsessive killer. i think the only clark truly loved was the doc, tbh. but they just couldn't work out bc of his own obessions.
