“no personality trait other than being pitiful” this is it exactly. who even is she? other than sitting in her room and thinking of like 3 people she does practically nothing. No goals, no ambitions, nothing. Idk what she’s doing tbh. In contrast you see that athy studies, has goals, engages w the people around her, tries to learn magic, etc. she’s an actual person. Jeanette is like one single trait of a 5 year old personified.
it's irrational but I really really don't like Jeanette. Like, I hate the chapters where she and her villain dad are the focus. I suffer through it because we don't get enough updates, and I read it just for the little bits of Athy and Claude we get.
