They believe Nera to be their Lost daughter because of her red eyes when the facts is Nera is Irris's cousin from another mother the duke definitely have no relation to. I mean they rush their decisions to quickly ya know without evidence. Theoretically i think maybe their country might have some technology or magic they developed to know if someone is related to the other. I mean come on, they have fudgin alchemy to erase someones memory and change the color of someone eyes but no magic on knowing if your biologically related to someone!!!
