First: This is a relationship not work for christ's sake. second: Except for couples with kids in which the new relationship can affect the kid, an ex is an ex, they are not together anymore, she doesn't have "territorial rights" anymore. Her opinion has basically the same weight as the one of a stranger. Third: People that think they know what is better for someone else's relationship without even knowing the circumstances are a pain in the ass. They don't know. For their opinion to be useful or truthful they have to be imparcial and have access to as many details as possible about the relationship, otherwise it is just self indulgence. There are people that like "useless" lovers so that they can take care of them, there are those that like to be taken care off, and the ones that prefer independent lovers that won't botter that with useless stuff, caring lovers, passionate, agressive, manly, delicate, etc. There are countless kinds of relationships and lovers and, except for extreme, dangerous or degrading cases, and if you are a family member or a close friend, as long they are fine with each other nobody has nothing to do with it.
