agree with you, another crap story of harlequin with weak female and bastard male, harlequin thinks this kind of men are very charming and saint, and of course!, their traditional "happy ending"; that the woman must be very blessed and happy to have that kind of man. There is some logic? I am wrong or are harlequin wrong?.

Aren't harlequin manga based off the novels? but are cut supper short that it may alter the story.

But I do agree that its another forgiving girl.... rather she kick his ass. I think the fact that she raised the kid on her own was strong and that she wasn't all about revenge. in a sense she's strong.... but then through an unfortunate encounter she meets that guy again the one who ruined her life.

She tried to ignore him.... but that really backfired... especially since he wouldn't let her go. He was like a prick toddler who doesn't want to let other have his toy and will use practically any means to keep it. And She acted like a stupid mother who at first refuses, but Oh So Kindly lets the kid have his way, after all she still loves him and it Just so happens he has power to threaten her to keep her by his side even though he was the cause of her pain and hell to start with.

And that letter sure as hell wouldn't solve anything even if she had seen it, she may have accepted what happened sooner but I still think he played around with her (at least at the beginning) and that's unforgivable.

I wasn't to thrilled at how soon she forgave him, sure he also went threw his own hell, but that was the job he choose so that was his own fault. He Left. NOT Her!

I don't see why she blamed herself. He used her ...and eventually grew some feeling for her too, but still carried out his 'job' and even though he wanted to tell her HE still left for his next job.

SHE picked herself up through hell and walked back WHILE carrying his child, talk about weight on the shoulders (no I don't mean a burden, just a lot more to do than walk through hell). So what if she didn't read his letter one its not her fault and two why would she even give him the right.... no the honor of reading it... don't think she'd have time through all that hell any ways. So what if she didn't tell him about there kid, He left and even if she wanted to would she even have been able to get in touch with him.

I think the Harlequin manga has strong women, that become weak to romance, after all being strong is their 'shell' protection when they are out in the world but once the man come Oh ho ... -_- they melt and become weak and that makes it ... romantic.... we have society to thank for that, its hard to think outside the box.

And don't forget the "happy ending" justifies rape, assault, blackmail, coercion, etc.
