I just find it so funny that the author wrote this beautiful masterpiece, but also wrote Love or Hate which is just an angsty disaster lmao. It’s like when she was writing love or hate, she decided to write something more mainstream that would get lots of attention and reads. Although it worked, I felt like the quality of the story was sacrificed. I read this manhwa before I did Love or Hate, so I was a little disappointed when I read Love or Hate.
Anyways, Fools is one of the best shounen ais I’ve ever read (maybe even one of the best BLs I’ve read??). The whole story is just so pure, wholesome, realistic, and refreshing. It was well written and the characters are just so loveable. It had the perfect amount of angst; it was never overwhelming or too much, just enough to make things interesting. I come back to reread this manhwa every once and a while and it’s always as good as the first time. Thank you to the author for writing such a beautiful story and to the illustrator who brought it to life through her drawings!
