Where I come from a kiss is a greeting btween intimates. Close friends, family. Usually high on the cheek by the eye. Uhh.. my family might be strange but we kiss on the lips..that's usually for mom, dad, bro, sis, grandparents..and family members we are especially close with. It's just something we were all taught since we were little. I'm a Southerner so that might be why:P
