I agree. He’s honest and really calculative. But what’s good about him is that he doesn’t just keep his calculations and conclusions to himself, he communicates with Kabu as much as he can, and that’s what makes their relationship work really well.
I’ve read this so many times and as much as I love Kabu, Onoe’s personality is one of the best I’ve seen in any yaoi manga. He’s so precious
