koitomo is a spin off from a side story in katekyo or more a continuation and the original story fits your request perfectly. THe seme plays adorable puppy and when that doesn't work, he changes tactics but that's sorta at the end...I think its around chapter 15, the description for koitomo should tell you.

heh I'm sure it will happen, all of that mangaka's mangas are pretty amazing. slightly funny, and I can't really read something that isn't at least a little funny, although what I find funny vs. what other people find funny may be different, oh did you try Scandalous Seiryo University. I forgot this has that too, the seme isn't only sweet to the uke he goes over the top to see how far he can take his act and still be believed. Its pretty funny too.
Any manga where the seme is nice and sweet at first but then the uke realizes the seme is a demon and the seme likes to tease the uke often.
