Why is "abuse" and not "rape" the tag people picked? I was really surprised, not in a good way. My own suspicion is that it's the genders involved. The ages and the status of the people involved make consent impossible. It's rape. Abuse doesn't cover it., not as a reader warning label, anyway.

I would put two tags: rape and abuse.
She surely was raping him, but also was abusing in a violent and verbal level. Which maybe drew him to isolate from people. His stutter at such age could be a consequence of her abuse.

nope, its probaly because its also called , Sexual or physical ABUSE, people probally put thisin their tags as abuse along with the other kinds of abuse as well. its easier to have the fucked up ones (=・ω・=) all in one place

Rape is a form of abuse. The word is not specific. Just because people use the word abuse instead of rape it doesn't mean they think it wasn't.

Glad to be wrong. I was expecting a little violence, and got more than I was brac r doing for, but I'm fine with being wrong. Happens all the time.
