My question is concerning fei long, Sakazaki's and Sudou. What gave them that notion that aki is asami pet, not as his lover? Neither one of them know nothing of their relationship to call him " asami pretty little pet", duch as Sakazaki's did. They probably not the one that think of him like that , but, the only one that say it out loud.

Fei refereed to Akihito as Asaki's lover once I think Sammy

Yes. Fei wouldn't have bothered taking Aki id Fei didn't think Asami was really into Aki. I think when Asami came personally to get Aki the first time it showed more than a casual interest.

I loved it when Aki asked why Asami came since he already had the mo, and Asami says, "Right. The mo."

Well Aki thought the reason Asami wold come was to get the MO. Asami came for Aki. Instead of a big emo speech about how Aki was what Asami wanted, Asami just makes a sarcastic remark as he carries Aki off.

It's sort of like not saying "I love you." You have to judge Asami's intent by his actions, not his words. Asami personally rescued Aki because he wanted Aki back. And he doesn't like other people touching his stuff.

I'm going to expand on this, because I think it is a key piece to understanding Asami. Not only does he come personally to get Aki, he goes in alone. This is personal for him. Then he strolls over to Aki causally with an "Are you coming or what?"

Someone else may have run over being upset that Aki was chained and naked, wondering if he was alright and fussing over him. However Asami strolls over and gives Aki crap about sleeping. Asami just fought his way through Fei's men and would fight more on the way out if necessary, but he's cool. Not only cool--he's laughing at Aki for being in that mess.

Then we get to the next page, Aki asks why Asami came since Aki sent the mo. Asami laughs, puts his jacket on Aki, and throws Aki over his shoulder. Then Asami walks out with his man. Aki acts defiant and Asami is amused, but look where they end up.

It's key to understanding Akihito, too. When Asami is maddeningly obscure like this, it adds to Akihito's feelings of doubt and insecurity. The reader gets what Asami means here, but it takes Akihito forty-five more chapters to figure it out. Actions aren't always enough, especially not for Akihito. He needs verbal assurance but is too afraid to ask for it.

That's fair. Aki hasn't learned to watch people and make inferences instead of accepting words at face value. This gets him into trouble on many occasions. So when Aki hears, "I don't like others touching my things." or "You don't have that kind of value.", he takes it literally. The ironic part is that Aki doesn't say what he really means when it comes to Asami either. Aki says he hates Asami (at first) and that he doesn't want to have sex (though he does). Later, Aki says he is Asami's maid, and he only lives with Asami because of the stalker. Aki is more transparent, but he isn't good about talking about his feelings.

They both have communication issues and I think it's becausethey're both afraid that if they are completely open, they risk rejection. Akihito wants to ask Asami what he means to him but is afraid of the answer. Asami wants Akihito to love him but is afraid to say so openly because, as you say, Akihito is hiding his own feelings.

It seems to me that the current crisis may be the catalyst for both of them to understand what they mean to each other without putting it into words. (Assuming they both make it through this alive.)
