I really don’t understand why mangakas would choose such a dramatic topic like kidnapping, revenge, rape, trauma, Stockholm Syndrom and being sold a as sex slave, when this has no real impact on the characters and their relationship in the end. Just do fluff if you don’t want your characters to have any real depth. All this shit “but I love him” is just bs to me. Unless there is some real Stockholm Syndrom going on that is addressed in a realistic manner, otherwise shove it. And not, “ he did all those things to me but I deserve it because of his trauma”.
