So Shin is having secondary effect from the drugs that were given to him during this torture and it's effecting him really badly to the point of him literally fainting. He also has left over magic effects and no one's sure what the ingredients were at all. Shin doesn't have any magical tolerance whatsoever, his immune system cannot fight it at all but some way he's fighting it. When he's happy and or not stressed he's ok, but when he's under stress his body fails. Wolfgang wonders why his "gift" doesn't work on Shin. They don't really know and guess it's probably because Shin in some way rejects it. Wolfgang wonders if maybe the "gift" of the dragon could help, but obviously Shin can't go since he's not capable of traveling ATM and it doesn't help that Shin isn't "Golden Leonard." Even if there was a miracle that Shin was accepted he doesn't have any tolerance for magic. So in a sense, Shin's life is in danger. Wolfgang is obviously in despair. He can't help Shin in any way. His gift can't help him, the dragon gift can't help him; nothing. Hell continue using his energu until he dies. He's not even able to eat anything. Obviously Wolfgang is not taking this well. But then we get from ma boi Uly, "who says there's no other way?" Uly talks about the land of Gambling and Loss. This is the land where all drugs stat and finish. It's very closed off. It's like a land of deliquents. It's a very dangerous place. Just people visiting there is many incidents that happen; but that's the only lead they have to help Shin. He mentions again that's it could be a hit or miss. Shin comes out yelling saying that this is absolutely not possible. Shin says that it's just him being tired and nothing. Wolfgang is all "your health and safety is important to me!" Shin obviously says this is stupid, in his own way. Wolfgang says that a Shin needs to do is stay in the palace and not do anything and rest. Shin says that it's nothing to worry about and it's just the stress of work. Shin says "well if I'm the one that's sick, then shouldn't I be the one that goes then!?" Wolfgang and Shin are yelling now. Wolfgang is all "you think with a body like that you can cross that border!? You think I'll let you do that!?" Shin is all "I'm an adult man! Etc" Wolfgang has Gareth now. They yell some more and in a final yell Wolfgang yells "SHIN!" Wolfgang brings out his sword and Shin immediately kneels on the ground. Wolfgang doesn't want to do it but he lays the sword on him and says pretty much "by order of the king, you are to stay in the palace and protect it and the country." I think this is hard on them both because this is the first time Wolfgang has ever used his power on him and forced him to do something. Shin's last words are "I accept...." And that's where we leave off and then next chapter is Wolfgang getting ready to go to the new land with everyone except Shin.
