i really liked the emotional development from both characters because both of their traumas are incredibly valid and we can clearly understand the reasons behind their actions and we can empathise w them. however i find that the story took quite turn post-warehouse fire and it was a bit unrealistic because we get that both sungho and dohyun are trying to tear away from each other (hospital scene + setting the warehouse on fire) and all of a sudden one (1) confession from sungho was all it took for dohyun to change his mind ??
i get that the whole point of it is that they cant run from each other as much as they want to because of how entangled their lives and emotions already are but it seemed a bit too drastic to go from rape threats and pure obsession to awkward lovers.
i think a more suitable ending would be an acknowledgment that the relationship they have is completely toxic and that both characters are aware and yet participative because all they have is each other yknow? maybe falling in love a little further down the road + therapy because GOD do they both need it
anyways this was a thrilling read from start to finish and amazing art too
