I also think it's for Terry’s sister and the doctor. It was said that they wanted to marry, right? But the doctor disagreed since his family said it was too soon. They broke up because of it and then Sara Lu died. That's also why the doctor got sick (because of regrets).

Were the two rings found with the dead sister ever explained? It was pointed out that they were too small for the father. So who were the rings for? Anyone know?
