Manga is a Japanese comic. Manhwa is a korean comic (comic as in papers). It isnt right to call a webtoon "manhwa" in the first place. A lot of BL comics like "love is an illusion", "sign language" etc are actually called webtoon. Because it's a web comic. But because a lot and most of webtoons are made by koreans, people call it manhwa. Which actually made quite a lot of misunderstandings. For example, it's really hard to ask for actual Manhwa recommendations because people just assume that i want a "webtoon" recommendation ;-; . So, the point is, this could be called a manhwa because a korean wrote it...
