This webtoon is oriented to males, so the main character has some ladies drooling after him while he is clueless, because that is what boys enjoy reading.
The same way a lot of female oriented stories portray an ashole who turns into a prince for the girl. Those are stories that are unrealistic and unhealthy, but they feel good to the readers.
