your reactions are very funny! I’m pretty sure he’s limbless because it was either an accident, or some sort of weird self harm, judging from Hajime falling off the building window. Komaeda probably feels guilty that he couldn’t save or help Hajime during his troubles, and he hallucinates seeing Hajime’s original form, and maybe Komaeda excepts that he couldn’t do anything and that it wasn’t his fault in the end, and then maybe the original Hajime ‘haunting’ him disappears. Overall pretty sad, but mediocre. The art was very pleasing.
