Okay, so while almost everyone who read this manga are still weeping for blatantly ignoring the spoiler warning, here I am, still quite calm but disappointed in a different way.
First of all, you may hate me for saying this, but I honestly didn't have my usual doki doki feels for this couple. I mean, I appreciate that they showed reluctance and confusion, because let's face it, suddenly having feelings for someone of the same gender isn't very easy to accept especially when one has never even considered it a possibility. However, I felt like, the relationship lacked something special. I even hated how Mura acted towards Subaru and their bumpy relationship. Ugh, I especially couldn't stand it when he was already being lovey dovey to Subaru, yet he continues to make passes with his (ex) girlfriend. Okay, wait, did he even seriously break up with her? Because with the way they acted, it was as if they were still in a relationship and he's just having an intimate affair with Subaru. Like, dude, don't go declaring and pushing your love if you can't even stay faithful!
Moving on, I admit that I also ignored the spoiler warning. But in reality, I just didn't get it clearly so I continued reading. I mean, I had a hunch early on, but I was still hoping that it wouldn't actually happen... Yet, it did. I was sad, but I didn't cry. Perhaps because I didn't get too attached with the characters whom I felt lacked more depth? I imagine being in their situation though, and that's when I felt my chest hurt. It's surely hard to get over a lover's death -- you'd stop living and won't care about anything else, except that you have to. Because you're alive, you have to live and move on with your life, even if your special person is no longer by your side. In time, you may or may not meet someone who will make you happy despite the tragedy you experienced.
I think this manga has a great potential to be so much better, especially because it introduced some interesting bits, like The Lemming Condition, for example. It would've been more interesting if the concepts introduced were actually integrated more properly and executed better throughout the story. I also feel that the characters weren't developed much.
