could've at least been a few chapters of feels, depression, struggle and grief. Would've given this story a whole lot more depth...
Yep, exactly! I feel zero empathy to any characters here simply because we just don't develop a relationship with them
I was so surprised how they all died in minutes. In my opinion it gave the story a lot and was impressed by the authors decision. Then he decided to null it in the SAME chapter even.
He could've let him wander 3-6 chapters in despair, running away from that dude and developing the time travel magic or finding it in ancient ruins or anything alike.
But *poof* cuz of random reasons emotion blah blah time travel nothing happend.
Sad. Took away an insane amount of seriousness and severity from the story.
Time travel..... I mean, we knew it was coming but still.... (〜￣△￣)〜
