let's see ogawa chise has a one shot with a hairdresser seme...he was pretty hot. I've found quite a few...realized that's the other seme I have a thing for. And slightly sadistic semes are also nice...more teasing or lightly bullying. Apparently I have a few different faves...Have that whole free spirit thing...which is another thing that tends to be bad for me in real life...yeah real men suck :P I don't care for younger semes...

Yep, feminine weak ukes are not my thing. I agree with you- I can read a story like that once in a while (like in the mentioned manga), but I prefer them to be manly. That's why I wasn't able to continue on reading Okane ga Nai, although it's about yakuza (my fav theme) and stuff. I just couldn't stand how weak the uke was.

But yeah my favorite ukes are usually like the queen ukes or tsundere grouchy ukes...I love the one with the priest and the bratty persistent kid....another nice age gap story.

I have mixed feeling when it comes to sadistic semes. I mean I love stories where the seme is a real jerk and makes the uke cry (and I cry along with him)- from cheating (like in Overdose), through ignoring (like in Lover's Position) to physical abuse (like in Nemureru Hana- that one is just to much for my weak heart), but at the same time I want them to break up ^^. Or at least I want the seme to atone.

oh no by sadistic seme I mean very lightly sadistic...like Kaede in Katekyo...he's very mildly sadistic...if they get too mean it makes me depressed...or like mankai darling...I like that seme...I tend to like fluff and comedies. And yes the seme in houkago no love call is super sexy yummm. Also it depends on what uke they are paired with...some ukes are so meek its just like watching abuse...but some ukes that are super patient or have the balls to give as good as they get then its not so sad.

Again I totally agree with both of you. I love Usagi Otoko Tora Otoko, but Okane ga Nai is a no-no for me- the characters look like from two completely different manga.

That's how I was with Totally Captivated. I just fell in love with them! I finished reading it and read it again immediately... And then again... lol As much as I dislike certain types of uke, though, if the seme isn't appealing, then I lose interest... I like the sadistic type, too... Hehe ;-)

Yeah I just don't like meek. Although usagi otoko tora otoko he's kinda meek but he's so stinking cute and he's still not okane ga nai meek...Jeeze. I like angry tsundere ukes they make me laugh. Right I read that recently I really loved it. Its so cute and fluffy and seme isn't the kind I normally like but he was sooo sweet. And their relationship made the manga amazing...the development was so well done. Haha someone knows who that is yessssssss...my fair lady was a favorite when I was a kid. And yeah the mask of zorro was frequently watched. I still love that movie. The second one sucked though...except the bad guy is rufus sewell who's quite yummy, and always the bad guy.
