It's different when you try to confess to a friend or when you confess and chase a stranger. I mean of the later reject you, you don't have to see him ever again but it will become difficult if this is a classmate. And I think he loved him very much and then he got a little coward to express his love excessively.

ok unpopular opinion i know ray is kind of dense for not understanding uke's feeling for a long time but if we consider his personality probablly poor baby didn't even realised his own feelings but uke he loves ray for a decade and doesn make any move but for seme he basically jumps over him offer him sex and do a lot of stuff i don't know man i mean if he loved ray so much why didn't even try just a bit and i am not talking about for confession maybe just a little affection cause after ray saw a little vulnerable side of uke he fell for him but uke basically simp for a sexy voice i don't know but uke doesn't deserve ray in my opinion(〜￣△￣)〜
