ok..so i started reading this around june of last year and i was very intrigued and in love with the art style that i couldn’t wait till the next updates yet here i am now months later SOBBING!! it was such a wild ride.
ch 4 was very heart wrenching to read. the terror i could feel from Arima filled my heart with so much sadness and i was absolutely disgusted by that man. idk how they let him on parole and HOW he found Arima at that play but i hope he rots.
ch 6 was also a bit disturbing to read that i practically skimmed through when Arima was replaying what happened to him onto Taiga when he was raped. I couldn’t stomach it. I know Arima was hurting but what he did was wrong though i am glad he apologized to Taiga. Also, THE DAD!!! i had a feeling it was going to be Taiga’s dad and it was nice to see his pov.
In the end, this manga was very heart wrenching but also so uplifting because these two were able to be each other’s strength. They both found someone that could give them courage to pick themselves back up and better themselves. it was wonderful to see and i was so glad bc sometimes you just need that one person who could change everything.
