Depends on the boy but there are some yes that read both...maybe not a lot

Well, there was at least one straight guy on this site who said he did in this questions section awhile back. He was a bit surprised about it, too.

Admittedly, I was skeptical: if you aren't turned on by images of men having sex, why on earth would you read yaoi? And if you are turned on by images of men having sex, how does that not make you, at the very least, more inclined toward homosexuality than most men?

But I had no right to assume he was anything other than what he claimed. After all, I'm not him.

Sometimes I think guys get confused? I have a friend who swears up and down that he's straight but got really drunk and said he liked sucking a friends...dangly bit...but that he's really straight

Shoujo and yaoi are generally created for girls, but that doesn't necessarily mean boys don't read it. There are some who enjoy reading it for hobby or whatever other reason

Confusion, maybe ... and also different levels of attraction to others. But I would say that if a guy like sucking other guys' things, then homosexual desires are definitely part of who he is. That doesn't mean he isn't also attracted to women, though.

Yeah he is attracted to women. Poor guy has gotten friend-zoned a lot because girls think he's gay...although he also seemed to have no trouble getting laid...he's super cute and super sweet. He does come across as pretty metrosexual. I think in his case he likes to please and so making his friend feel good was something he got off on.

I'm a girl.I have read yuri, not many, but I have. That doesn't make me a lesbian. I have put some thought into it, but I just can't imagine having sex with a girl. I don't get turned on by girls in real-life. I'm sure I'm straight. I read manga just for fun, as long as the story's good, yaoi, shoujo, shonen, yuri, horror...I don't mind the genre. It could be the same for that guy. And yaoi isn't all about sex I think. There's love too...just thought I'd give a different perspective for you to consider ^^
