Idk if this is because it seems to be an issue in real life but when it comes to these mystery thrillers that involve murder in webtoons/K-dramas, the police is always incompetent & they take forever to believe the victims until it’s too late. There’s always some form of corruption that stops them from doing their job properly. It’s annoying. Also, I feel like this story could’ve left out Yoo-Hyun as a character & the plot still would be in tact. She’s just there for filler... nothing more, nothing less.
The killer was scary in the beginning but he loses his scariness as the chapters go on. The plot took too long trying to beat around the bush, there’s so much back story that we could do without, and the plot keeps running into issues that could simply be resolved if characters were a bit more vigilant & aware. Overall, the story is meh. I’ve watched enough K-dramas to know how the story will end & how lackluster the plot will be as it progresses forward. It sucks because the story had a lot of potential.
