I haven't read the novel but I watched the donghua and it is really good. But I just had some questions if anybody knows the answers. Like it might be a huge spoiler to some people but I just want to know if tang san was a good husband and good father?
From what I read online, some people said he's a terrible husband and father or even terrible grandfather. One of the reasons is how he treated his son and grandson terribly. I think somebody said that he didn't support his son financially and his son being the son of a sea god had to earn his way of living and tang san never gave him any fatherly love to his son or grandson.
but in the donghua he seem like a good person like he loved his father and mother even though his father left him when he was 6 years old. He is a reliable companion to his friends. He would sacrifice his cultivation for his Xiao Wu. He is a good leader and had a lot of responsibilities. But aside from that image, is that one of the reasons he neglected to being a good husband or father?
