He did say that he don't want to turn him into a demon. But he also said beforehand that he "can't" do that....
So let's say if he do wanted to turn the boy into a demon, he can't do it because of some reason.

Yeah, you are making sense. I wonder if what qualifies someone for demonhood is different for every person. Nicholas lived in fear of starving to death, and the 2nd story guy was...something. Violent narcissist, maybe. But this kid doesn't seem to have any issues or faults. He's kind, gentle, and didn't even want Mr. Jang to take revenge on the ones who burned his home down. Maybe there has to be something desperate or wrong about someone before they can become a demon. The kid just isn't like that, and he'd probably suffer as a demon because of it.

Maybe you need to hate humans in the first place to become a demon?

He actually burned his own house down to stay with him, he wanted to seem pitiful be had he thought that’s what he needed to be for mr jang to stay with him

I don't think so. Mr. Jang even offered to give him money for his expenses as an adult, but he wouldn't take it. Bokhan said he didn't want to be seen as a child. Looking pitiful would only make him look more childlike and in need of parenting, and that's not the relationship he wants with Mr. Jang.

I’m pretty sure, I forgot which chapter but he talks about how he did something to cause a fire cuz he didn’t want mr jang to leave him. And he thought mr jang stayed with him cuz he pitied him and and ont point he said to himself, it’s okay if he thinks that cuz he wants mr jang to always stay with him, he could’ve changed his that later tho. If y’all really want I’ll go look through the chapters where that happens but I’m PRETTYY sure that’s what happened

Looks like the building burns down in ch. 42. It's mentioned a couple of times after that, like when Bokhan says the rest of his belongings - except for emergency things - burned up, and he just wants to forget it all forever. The line (ch. 43) starts: "I'm sure they all burned faster than any picture I'd try to burn on my own while sobbing..." I think that could sound like something he did himself, but it seems he was trying to make light of losing everything. Losing so much was really hard on him, but he only let it show in that one joking-but-not-really bit of dialogue.

Maybe so. Or maybe you have to have done something unforgivable to them, whether by retaliation or just because you could. Kind of chilling.

Back in ch. 39. when Bokhan was still a kid and he'd just lost his last family member, he starts worrying about being alone again. He has enough money to live on thanks to Mr. Jang, but he's afraid he won't come around anymore ("Maybe he won't come back if he stops feeling sorry for me..."), so he stuffs the money back in his pillow. But he definitely plays on Mr. Jang's pity to keep him close. In the hotel, right after his house burns down, he plays up the sad and vulnerable angle, telling Mr. Jang, "I'm all alone in a strange place" and "I'm cold. Won't you spend the night?"

I love Mr. Jang. He's a willing sucker for Bokhan, no matter what.
