Ah I'm currently reading them too!!! (well 3 more to read to finish the story)
I really love the way their relationship progress slowly: from aversion to absolute passion (don't think I will spoil anything by saying that).
The characters have really strong personalities and go with each other so well!! Even the side couples are so cute (in their own way of course XD )
After finishing the first book, it became immediately one of my favourites series. Action, murder and boys love story, I couldn't ask for more! I also recommend it to everyone !

and yes I really enjoyed cut and run...it was very well-written...and they were completely equal all the way around. And there was more depth to the characters than I thought there'd be.

I'm so incredibly glad other ppl read it as well!
When i read it i fell for the characters so bad, i literary wasn't able to read anything else, so i just went and reread it 3-4 day after finishing all 9 books. And after i reread it it impacted me even more, especially Zane's struggle.
It might sound weird but, they made me realize that i should be a better person for myself, that i should improve myself and be the best person i can, first for me, and then for the ppl i care about.
People always tell you stuff like go to school, study, live the life you have to the fullest and other stuff like that but i can't take it to heart when they come from ppl who act high and mighty, because they already got over the problems i'm facing, and are experienced, or even worse if they just want to look good in front of someone.
The only time i can really take such advice to heart is from the books i love so much, hold so dearly to my heart, that i practically live out the characters as if they are a part of me
well text wall aside ( i could write 3 times this much, simply love the book so much xD ), the side stories are 2 sidewinder ones *don't remember the names Σ(っ°Д °;)っ and "Warriors Cross" - about Julian and Cameron

Well probably post this a few more times. I simply can't shake the feeling that i want everyone to know just how incredible this book is :D

Yea, i know what you mean. Cut and run was actually the first non Japanese BL novel/manga i read, the difference in character depth struck me so much that i fear i'm kinda obsessed now (see my text wall above) Σ( ￣□￣||)
Well i don't regret nuthing tho!
But it took me 2 rereads + week or so to go back and try reading some other book . . . yea . . . ╮(￣▽￣)╭
lol I'd read a couple others and was just like "............" they were soooo awful...but I'm nothing if not an optimist and Cut and Run looked really good and interesting :)
The problem is nothing seams good after reading something that is excellent, common yaois are just too hard to read now, and i used to read so much :P
I tried some stories on wattpad and it was so empty i just couldn't take it :(
On that topic, do you have a recommendation (〜￣△￣)〜, i'm trying to find something nice to read (aside from rereading Cut and Run for the third time that is xD )
If you like fantasy novels Mercedes Lackey wrote some pretty awesome stories with gay main characters who fall in love and they're well written...some of the stories in that series are hetero...its like a group of friends and sometimes the characters are side characters and sometimes they're the main characters. Its kinda completely different from cut and run but maybe you need something of a different genre so you can't compare....
although I haven't read them since I started yaoi so...keep that in mind...

It's not like i read exclusively BL and yaoi, i read the occasional shoujo and shounen and i adore fantasy books like The Lord of The Rings and such
The most important is that the characters are well written, as such the yaois that go rape->love->sex , i simply cant stand anymore ( love->sex is also no good, it's like they just threw them there just so they can draw a smexy scene #－.－) ), altho i was reading the most hardcore BDSM before Cut and Run, now i read Shonen Ai + psychological
If you like fantasy stuff my favourite book (and favourite author :P )
is The Stormlight Archive (book 1 is "The Way of Kings", there are only 2) by Brandon Sanderson. There's practically 0 romance, but it's a very well written book. Mistborn by same author is also very good (and completed)

so yeah Yeah I'll get you the specific titles because the author writes a LOT of books :P
They're LOTR similar..she's very good at world building...I fell in love with the culture almost more than any of the characters...but the characters are nice.

I you haven't read it, my most heartfull recommendation is the novel "Cut and Run" by Abigail Roux. If you have, i wonder what you thought of it :3
The characters are deep and both have heeps of problems to deal with. And, to me the most important part, they are completely equal in bed (hot too ^_^)~, ) after reading so much uke/seme yaoi that was very refreshing.
I won't tell what the romance is like, exept that it was so sweet i practically melted (no girly ukes tho!!!)
There are 9 books and 3 side stories (it's completed). I hope someone heeds me and read it, i loved it so much i couldn't resist reading it twice in a row (not even 5 days pause lol xD couldn't read anything else i was so hyped )
