Can someone explain the ending to me?

Du Ming was the one who raped Wang Yao and not Song yang, which is shown in the last panel. Zhang Qian said in a letter to Du Ming that she thought at first that he was pure which is why she loved him but when she found out that Du Ming killed the professor that slept with Zhang Qian so Du Ming could get his diploma, she said that no one in this world is pure after which she killed herself. Du Ming then raped Wang Yao and basically said the same "no one in this world is pure"
